High-performance surgical microscope Leica M525 OH4
The Leica OH4 surgical microscope provides superior reach, height, and clearance. The Leica OH4 floorstand, designed by our partner Mitaka, moves easily and when the brakes are released, the microscope stabilizes in only 1.5 seconds and remains vibration free.
By integrating new glass, glass coatings, and design parameters, high-resolution APO OptiChrome technology delivers an expanded working distance and greater depth of focus. In combination with the innovative light management systems BrightCare and AutoIris you can operate and safe light levels and still see more than ever before.
The M525 OH4 also offers FL800 and FL400 fluorescence for intraoperative visualization of blood flow and tumor tissue.
Supports patient safety
BrightCare Plus and AutoIris reduce the possibility of patient skin burns by automatically optimizing light intensity and diameter relative to working distance and zoom. When combined with the high degree of light transmission provided by OptiChrome optical technology, surgeons can operate at lower, safer light levels while still having a clear view into cavities.
Greater flexibility
Large overhead space and long reach allows the microscope to be conveniently located behind the surgeon in the overhead position, or easily positioned anywhere around or across the operating table. The result is greater flexibility and comfortable working conditions for the surgeon.
Intraoperative Fluorescence
FL800 integrated vascular fluorescence is used in combination with ICG to enable the surgeon to see blood flow through vessels. FL400 oncological fluorescence is used in conjunction with 5-ALA for visual differentiation of tumor tissue from normal brain tissue.
